Beth and Nathaniel
Nathaniel is my cousin Kenny's son, and grandson of my Uncle Quentin and Aunt Natalie. We were thrilled to participate in his wonderful wedding to Beth Kibort, which took place in Minneapolis on November 28th, 2009. Lawrence took a million or so pictures, some of which are available here.
We flew to Minneapolis on Friday, after a splendid Thanksgiving at Seth and Jenny's house. We had feared 3 feet of snow, but no such thing! The weather was fine, and remained so all weekend.
Friday night we met at the hotel, where the table was laden with treats from friends of the bride's family and wine and beer flowed like water. After this we had a dinner at a local deli, with many welcoming speeches and heartfelt expressions of love and happiness from family and friends.
The next day was bright and clear, and we whiled away the time with a museum trip and lunch with Geof,Maria,Phil,Dorrie, and Kenny (taking a quick respite from his father-of-the-groom duties).
The wedding took place in a grand synagogue, and was simply spectacular. Beth looked stunning, Nathaniel blissful--and what fun to see them tossed high in the chair dance!
